This is a collection of the mtp experimentation I created for my Narrative Image Making project. Because I am going to make my final pieces mainly out of photography this exercise was harder for me to be able to find things that would relate. The blood effect is one that I will develop further onto my final pieces.
The image below shows how I created a pattern out of a small section of my MTP. I produced this by simply copying a small section four times and rotating/flipping them to create a larger square. I then copied this over and over to create a page of pattern.
The image below is made up of various MTP parts all collaged together to give my desired effect. I think the background image gives the effect of gates against greenery behind. I created the background image by scanning in a small part of MTP in at a very high resolution so that it would purposly give the blurred background, I sharpened the image so that the fencing part looked more like fencing. I then added both blood splats as a brush after creating them seperately as brushes.
The following image was created quite simply with the brush tool once I had made this part of MTP a brush. I have basically layered up the same size brush in different shades of the same colour.
Below is the brush I made in photoshop of my dragging hand print.
